Hi there, I Pudge and I a fun loving, charismatic and energetic boy! Although I spent most of my life on a chain, now that I am able to live a dog life, I am the happiest dog you will ever meet. Before being rescued, I didn know how to wag my tail but now it gets plenty of exercise! I love to take walks, go for car rides and run in the backyard. I went swimming for the first time this summer and couldn get enough of the water. I don like to fetch or play with toys because I would much rather lay on my back and have you rub my belly. I very inquisitive and always follow my foster parent around the house just to make sure I don miss out on anything. I know a few commands and working on learning some more. I am a Shar Pei, with some Lab mix, and approximately 7 years of age. Recently I had eye surgery because my foster mom noticed I was squinting a lot. The nice veterinarian that examined me said my eyelids were inverted. My eyelashes were rubbing against my eyes and it was very uncomfortable. She fixed my eyelids and now they no longer hurt my eyes. I hope someone will adopt me with my new eyes! I am neutered, up to date on vaccinations and in good health!
